Dr. DeBord is a Professor and Extension Specialist at North Carolina State University. With over 35 years’ experience with children, families, and communities in Virginia, Michigan, Missouri, and North Carolina, she has focused her research and practice on parent–child connections, professional development of parenting educators, and raising the quality of outdoor children’s environments.
