Dr. Engstrom is a retired general pediatrician who has practiced general pediatrics in Concord, NC, for 42 years. He has had an incredible career, which is shown through all his exceptional achievements. For the past 19 years, he has been involved with the North Carolina Pediatric Society (NCPS). Currently Dr. Engstrom serves on the Board of Directors of the North Carolina Pediatric Society Foundation. In 2002, Dr. Engstrom received an Outstanding Achievement Award from the American Academy of Pediatrics for the work done in the NCPS and in 2004; the society made him an Honorary Member.
